About the Doctors

As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Temple University School of Dentistry, Dr Baxter Sapp has been serving the dental health care needs of Durham for over 50 years, having spent the first 17 years of his career as a member of the Private Diagnostic Clinic at Duke University Medical Center before opening his own practice.
Both doctors have the honor of active participation in the following prestigious elected dental organizations:

*The Academy of Operative Dentistry
*The American Academy of Restorative Dentistry
*Northa Carolina Dental Society
*The International college of Dentists
*The American Association of Endodontists
*The Academy of General Dentistry
*The American Dental Association
*The American College of Dentists

And numerous other local and state dental organization. Working with these organizations, each doctor commits to at least 75 hours of continuing education each year.

Meet our staff:

The doctors are mindful of the important role our staff plays in the delivery of your dental care and wishes to acknowledge their valued contributions to your dental care, your well-being and to the success their efforts bring to this dental practice. Our staff is made up of five well trained and talented women.

Shannon Talley-Bradsher, Practice Coordinator
Shannon joined our practice 10 years ago as a Dental Assistant. Her interest in aptitudetoward the business of the practice made her an outstanding choice to fulfill the job description responsibilities of Practice Coordinator. She is the pilot and navigator who steers the practice through its daily schedule to arrange patient scheduling and maintain practice objectives and goals. She does this with a sincere and dedicated resolve to satisfy patient oral health care needs. Shannon lives in Cedar Grove with her husband of 10 years and 4 year old daughter, Carson.

Rachel Lovelace
Rachel joined our practice 4 years ago as a Dental Assistant. It wasn’t long before the doctors realized that her winning smile and lovely telephone voice best served the practice at the front desk with Shannon. She also serves as a roving Dental Assistant on occasion when the need arises. She cheerful and cooperative manner from her mother who has managed and dental practice for over 30 years. Rachel is a newlywed of only 1 year to Jereme and they live in Raleigh.

Angela Solomon
Angie is another one of our shining stars. She brought her lovely smile and confident manner to our practice 4 years ago and possesses a high level of understanding of the multitude of intricate procedures practiced in our office as a Dental Assistant. The mother of three beautiful children she demonstrates exceptional patient care skills with both adults and children. She worked in a Pediatric Dental Practice for 10 years prior to joining us. Angie lives in Prospect Hill with her husband Kevin and 3 children.

Marley Sauer
Marley joined our practice 24 years ago and is perhaps the kindest and mostthoughtful person you will ever have the good fortune to meet. When patients do not see her during their appointment they ask “Where is Marley?” Seeing her evokes a friendly exchange. A great Dental Assistant, she is also in charge of supply and inventory of the multitude of items and equipment necessary to conduct our practice. Marley lives in Durham with her husband Jack.

The doctors are very fortunate to have an effective and efficient group of talented women; who like each other, work well together; and have outstanding patient care skills. Together we represent over 100 years of experience in the Practice of Dentistry. The doctors and staff are dedicated to providing our patients with the finest dental services anywhere to permit them to maintain a lifetime of good oral health.
